  • NOTE 1: The counterargument contained in it about another species evolving that will suffer could be solved through efilism, the belief that no species should procreate. Otherwise, it doesn't really make sense to extend suffering to more people due to the possibility of preventing future suffering of a new species that may never even exist or assume that technology will be advanced enough to solve all our problems. Seems self-defeating to create more suffering to counteract potential suffering. There's also no guarantee there won't be conflict or discrimination between the new species and humans anyway since humans can't even get along.

     

  • NOTE 2: While it is true that antinatalism will likely never be completely implemented for the entire population, it is still applicable to one’s own individual life and could be a reason not to encourage (or even discourage) others from procreating.
